Profile

Francesco Balestrero is one of the three founding members of SEED of LIGHT. He is 26 years old and lives in Italy, among the hills of the province of Pavia. He is a mechatronics technician specialized in industrial automation, with a strong passion for technology applied to improving people’s lives.

A few years ago, he began traveling in search of adventure, which eventually led him to Nepal, where he took part in the “Light for Makalu Valley” project. This experience marked a profound turning point in his journey, and since then he has decided to dedicate increasing time and energy to humanitarian projects, with the goal of using his technical skills within the engineering team to generate positive, lasting change in communities around the world.
